15th July : We took a very long road trip to Lofoten, Norway.
5 hrs in – flat tyre and a very weird vibrating spare tyre. A visit by local mechanic twins who never spoke a word to us, just fixed the punctured tyre and left. Thankyou though!
Bodø to Lofoten 4 hr ferry trip. Beautiful yet chilly because we had Lance and had to sit outside. All snuggled up in blankets!
We were so lucky with the AirBnB we found near Leknes. It was like staying at an old relatives house, cosy and simple and in the perfect location.
Jaw dropping mountains and scenes at every turn. Walks through smelly fishing villages, up mountains, fishing off the rocks, chilling out playing games, enjoying the midnight sun, and taking things slow.
Definitely doing it again.
