Germany + France

Germany has great breakfast!  We stayed with Jana’s friend Ani in Ulm and they were the most warmest, generous and lovely family, with a  dog who sang!  Ani took us around Ulm and we climbed the Ulmer Münster (a  143 meter Lutheran church).  We then headed off to Stuttgart in Germany where Dave had some work to do.  A  colleage there took us around Stuttgart and when he lit up we had  a little Mad Men moment with his Lucky Strikes!  Add here – I am jaw droppingly amazed at how many Europeans smoke.

Another beautiful but run down castle with amazing views …. and goats…. and very large orange slugs….

Then it was off to the beautiful city of Strasbourg, France.
